MKA USA Response to Boston Attack

We are deeply hurt by the tragic loss of life in Boston earlier this week. We join all citizens of that city and the rest of the world in grief, and condemn this awful act in the strongest terms possible. While the details are still being uncovered, we, the Ahmadi Muslim youth, have begun to serve the city of Boston in any way we can -- from giving our blood at donor sites, to writing in local newspapers to express our pain and sympathies. May God grant strength and peace to all the victims families who have had to bear this terrible loss.

Fact of the Day

Most Arab Jews and Arab Christians refer to God as "Allah". And the word Allah in Arabic appears on the walls of many Arab churches.
PresidentObamaHumanityFirst Hurricane Sandy had devasted many lives and homes during its wake when it came ashore on the East coast on October 29, 2012. It took more than 100 American lives and countless more in its complete path of destruction. The personal stories of each individual who was affected by this storm can move anyone to tears.

When hearing or reading about this whole tragedy it can seem hopeless but like the lyrics of a once famous song, "its gonna be a bright, bright, sunshiny day," there is always a silver lining somwhere. In this case it is the big-hearted nature of the individuals who tirelessly volunteered round-the-clock for Humanity First to help out the victims of this storm.

Every act of kindness or compassion will change the most negative of attitudes and our khadim volunteering for Humanity First showed that through their action. Allah will reward them in countless ways in the present and the future. Inshallah. One way was when our Canadian khudaam brothers had decided to join the khudaam in New York earlier this week to help out with the cleanup. The community was astonished to see many different representations of youth through Humanity First and also because their main focus was the complete welfare for anyone in need.

In light of these events an even better situation emerged when President Obama decided to visit the disaster stricken area of New York and was able to shake hands with the volunteers of the Humanity First. Soon afterwards a press conference ensued where he mentioned the very meritorious act of the Canadian khudaam brothers. He was quoted to have said, "We are very thankful to our neighbors from the north," and "...I want to thank all the volunteers...we have some Canadians who have come down to help out." ( President Obama Press Conference)

Our motto as a  community will always be "Love for All, Hatred for None." Through it we will win over many hearts in the future and now. Please keep all of the victims and the volunteers in your prayer. (Relief Effort by Khudaam through Humanity First)
