Fact of the Day

Muslims accept the original unaltered Torah (the Gospel of Moses) and the original Bible (the Gospel of Jesus) since they were revealed by God. However, none of those original scriptures are in existence today, in their entirety. Therefore, Muslims follow the subsequent, final, and preserved revelation of God, the Holy Qur'an.
SandyHookTragedyA pain is felt upon the heart,
when tragic tales are told.
But when our country’s children weep,
Our bodies tremble cold.

We shudder, stop and think,
Of whom our country lost.
Our children’s lives, too dear.
How will we pay the cost?

As a nation we unite,

we love beyond our sights.
We show our tears, and love, and care.
We put aside our fights.

As a Muslim, I believe
that every life is sacred.
And when my country’s children weep,
I use love to fight the hatred.

As a people, our pains,
are all of one, the same.
Together we condemn the hate,
and give all violence shame.

As a nation we will see,
towards a future bright.
We work together, true and strong.
Our unity is might.
