Fact of the Day

Muslims accept the original unaltered Torah (the Gospel of Moses) and the original Bible (the Gospel of Jesus) since they were revealed by God. However, none of those original scriptures are in existence today, in their entirety. Therefore, Muslims follow the subsequent, final, and preserved revelation of God, the Holy Qur'an.
QBsFieldThe Quarterback sprints back, scanning the field for the open man. His players fan out. Out of the corner of his eye he sees an open man. His arm whips back. Almost without thinking, he throws the ball. It rips through the air, whistling towards its destination, the open arms of a receiver. The moment is perfect. The arc. The player. The offense. They’ve all lined up flawlessly. The receiver, in one fluid motion, switches between catching and racing toward the end-zone. As he crosses the line, the crowd goes wild! Touchdown!!!

Forty yards behind the end-zone the QB smiles, satisfied with the result. All of his planning, decisions, and instincts paid off. We all know that a team is nothing without their QB. Without his strategy, quick reflexes, on-the-fly planning, and leadership, no team can hope to win. He is the keystone to being a leader.

Sound like someone familiar? Every city has its QB. Strangely enough, every Majlis does too. Our Qaid is the foundation for our success. His actions, his efforts, pave the way for our triumph. All of us are leaders, but the Qaid is a leader amongst leaders.

He searches for the open man, the strongest point in our offense, and he capitalizes. He makes the best of our efforts. Over and over again, he takes us to the end-zone. He is our QB.
