 Chicago West New Year’s Eve Sleepover
Date of Event: Thursday, December 31, 2009 Attendance: around 20 children

During the New Year’s Eve sleepover our Atfal had a wonderful time. Naib Nazimeen Atfal (Harris Nisar and Sajeel Latif) did a spectacular job taking charge.

 Majlis Atfaal Ul Ahmadiya Washington DC New Year Sleepover 2009
The second annual Atfal sleepover took place on Dec. 31st 2009 at Fazal mosque in Washington DC. The Atfal and parents arrived on a wet soggy night and were greeted by Mian Ismaeel Waseem Sahib (Local Sadr), Khalid Mahmood (General Secretary and former Mohtamim Atfal) and Zahid Yousaf (Nazim Atfal).

The date was December 31st 2008 and it all started at 8:00pm. The young members of majlis atfaal ahmadiya DC started making their way to the mosque in their parent’s company. Carrying their sleeping bags and other necessary items. They were greeted by their nazim atfaal and qaid Khudam.

Majlis Atfal ul' Ahmadiyya Chicago West had held an Atfal Camp for the Spring Season. There were all kinds of activities and sessions throughout this event. By the grace of Allah, it was a very successful camp with an attendance of 45 participants, who included young Khuddam, Children under the age of 7 years, and our Atfal.

A Story by a Tifl:
One Feb 07-08 2009, I went to a sleep over at my masjid. I had an exhilarating time there. I also gained a lot of experience. We played lots of games such as basketball, football and carom board. We also had a trivia between the teams that we were put in as a competition to make the time more exciting.
