| Letter for Level 2 Atfal Workook Exam |
|
To: Qaid and Nazim Atfal, May 20, 2007 Subject: Level 2 Test due June 20, 2007 Assalamo Alaikum Wa-Rahmatullah Wa-Barakatahu! Attached, please find the Level 2 Test for Atfal. This test should be administered and graded at the local Majlis and results are due back by June 20, 2007. It is a closed book test and no answers should be provided to the Atfal. The answer key is also provided but should only be used to help you grade the tests. Nazim Atfal/Qaid are advised to dedicate an entire Atfal class to give the test. Also, please have some knowledgeable people help you administer the oral part of the test efficiently. Each age group’s test have two parts, a written and oral part. To pass, a Tifl needs to get 75% of the points on the written part and 75% of the oral questions correct. Mayar-e-Saghir need 26 out of 34 points on the written and 4 out of 6 questions correct on the oral part to pass. Mayar-e-Kabir need 66 out of 88 points on the written and 7 out of 9 questions correct on the oral part to pass. If the Tifl only passes the written part or only passes the oral part, he does NOT pass the level 2 test. A Tifl may retake the exam if he fails. We suggest that those Atfal who did not pass the Level 1 Test should retake it prior to attempting Level 2. However, this decision is left to local Nazim Atfal to make. To see who passed the Level 1 Test, please visit the Taleem Section of the Atfal-ul-Ahmadiyya section on www.mkausa.org. The only result we need is whether each Tifl passed or failed the Level 1/Level 2 Test. Please fill out the attached taleem-o-tarbiyyat tracker to indicate the status of each Tifl in your majlis. The e-mail deadline for the Taleem-o-Tarbiyyat Tracker (which has the results) is June 20, 2007. It can be emailed to Br. Ahmad Malik, Nazim Talim-o-Tarbiyyat at maahelp@yahoo.com. Please note that if a Tifl misses an exam due date, he can still take the exam at a later date. The ultimate goal is for Atfal to learn the materials. Jazakallah for your help. Please communicate to us any concerns and questions you may have. Thank you for your time and effort! Respectfully yours, Ahmad Malik National Atfal Taleem-o-Tarbiyyat Secretary |
