Volunteering in Kids' Schools
As a mother of two elementary school going children I regularly volunteer in my children's classes. I have felt that this boosts the the confidence of my children and as a parent gives me a much better insight of what activities take place in their school which helps me formulate similar activities at home which helps the children academically. By knowing the class culture and other children's thought processes, helps me define the "do's" and "don'ts" for my children in a much better way for their moral upbringing. Furthermore, it has given me an opportunity to develop a friendly relationship with teachers which helps the teachers see who we are in a positive manner.
