Routine Activities
* Following Atfal Class Agenda is a guide which is recommended to be followed in all of the Atfal Classes in your Majlis in November, 2011

All Majalis should hold:

  • One Atfal Amila meeting per Month
  • Two Taleem-o-Tarbiyyat classes with organized Sports and a Waqar-e-Amal activity (Use the sample Agenda below)

Recitation of Holy Quran

A Tifl to recite few verses of the Holy Quran (Chapter 9, Verse:108-111)

10:05 – 10:10

Translation in English

A Tifl to read the translation of the recited verses (Chapter 9, Verse:108-111)

10:10 – 10:15

Atfal Pledge

Lead by Nazim Atfal (Link to Atfal Pledge)

10:15 – 10:15

Pass around Attendance Sheet

Attendance Sheets to be passed (Download Attendance Sheet)

10:15 – 11:15

Atfal Taleem Class Section

Atfal to be split by age group into a minimum of three groups (Ages 7 – 9, Ages 10 – 12, Ages 13 – 15). Each group should be assigned a Teacher, who is preferred to be a Nasir or a Parent Khadim. Alternatively, Nazim Atfal may also take classes.

11:15 – 12:30

Re-group ALL Atfal General Session

 Meeting Agenda (Must be followed)
  • Update Tajneed of ALL Atfal
  • Form Atfal Amla
  • Set Dates for the two classes every month (i.e: ever other Saturday, or 2nd and 4th Sunday of the Month etc...)
  • Share: How to Win Best Majlis Award.

Sports Session

Allow Atfal to participate in some ORGANIZED sports activity. Spring is here so its good to have an Outdoor activity planned for Atfal.

Lunch

Provide Lunch to Atfal (Example: Pizza etc...), Take Pictures & email to atfalweb@mkausa.org

01:45 – 01:55

Waqar-e-Amal

Clean the Mosque or the area used by Atfal. Take Pictures of Waqare Amal

01:55 – 02:00

Prepare for Salat

Offer Salat
