Inshallah, this year's National Ijtema (Annual Youth Camp) will be held on August 22-24, 2008 at Hudson Valley Sportsdome. The event will also serve to echo this year's celebration of 100 years of Khilafat (Divine Leadership). Registration for the event is now open.

- All participants are expected to attend Salatul Jummah (Friday Prayer Service) at the Ijtema Site and stay until the end of the Concluding Session, Sunday, July 15th.

- Please include your Travel Information on your Registration Form. Register NOW!

What Airport Should I Fly To?

Preferred Airport: Stewart International Airport (SWF) Full Shuttle Service
Stewart International Airport is located near Newburgh, New York, with service from the following commercial carriers: American, AirTran, Delta, JetBlue, Northwest, and US Airways.

-    Pick up service will be available starting Thursday, July 12th and drop off will end Sunday evening, July 15th, 2007
-    All participants are expected to arrive prior to Friday Prayer service, therefore your flight must arrive no later than 12:30 PM EDT in order to attend the Friday Prayer

SWF Airport is approximately 18 miles/25 mins from the Ijtema Site; please plan your arrival accordingly


Alternate Airports: RESTRICTED SHUTTLE SERVICE
Due to the large distance to/from the Ijtema Site, the Ijtema Airport Shuttle (IAS) will offer limited pick-up and drop-off service to the following locations:

-   John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK)
    91 miles / 2hr30min from Hudson Valley

-   LaGuardia Airport (LGA)
    80 miles / 2hr30min from Hudson Valley

-   Westchester County Airport (HPN)
    67 miles / 1hr30min from Hudson Valley

-    Shuttle services will be provided from JFK and LGA starting Thursday, July 12th up until the morning of Friday, July 13th at 10:30 AM EDT  -    Shuttle services will be provided from HPN starting Thursday, July 12th up until the morning of Friday, July 13th at 11:30 AM EDT

What Time Should My Flight Depart on Sunday?
We strongly encourage you to consider booking flights that depart after 3:00PM EDT from SWF/HPN or after 4:00PM EDT from JFK/LGA. This way, adequate time is available for the Ijtema Airport Shuttle (IAS) to get you to the airport for an on-time departure.
