Gulf Coast Region News Local Ijtema dates: Houston North, South, and Cypress: March 29th Austin and Dallas: April 6th. Feb 9th 2008. Gulf Coast region holds its Regional Tarbiyyat workshop and sports day. A Blood Drive under the KCC initiative was also held in which 17 bags of blood were collected. There was tarbiyyat program held on the topic of wasiyyat condcuted by Regional Qaid Sahib and Murabbi Sahib. Three cricket matches between Dallas vs Houston were also played.	New and noteworthy in Gulf Coast Region Austin Majlis regularly holds "Quran Study Group", a workshop aimed exclusively at increasing the understanding of the Holy Quran. Khuddam bring non-ahmadi guests. Austin Majlis also started a "heating and air conditioning" training program under the department of Sanat o Tijarat
