Ijtema Blood Drive
Saturday, July 14
4:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya USA has partnered with the New York Blood Center this year for a blood drive at our National Ijtema, held on the July 13-15 weekend at the Hudson Valley Sports Dome.

Please visit the blood drive area Ijtema weekend to sign up.

Remember that there is a 90% chance that each one of us will require a blood transfusion at some point in our lives.

Blood donation is open to healthy adults at least 110 lbs and 17 years or older. There is no maximum age limit.

All who plan to donate must bring at least one piece of photo ID with them (a driver’s license is prefered) and provide their SSN (you don’t need to bring your SSN card; you just need to know your number). Without these two items, the blood agency will not take your blood.

Please do make sure to eat well and drink plenty of water before donating to ensure a safe and comfortable donation experience.

The blood drive is also open to 16 year olds – but only for those who have obtained signed written permission from a parent/guardian prior to coming to the Ijtema. The form is available to download here .

Please visit the blood drive registration desk at the Ijtema or speak to Muhtamim Khidmat-e-Khalq (Kashif Zafar), to reserve a spot in the schedule.

Jazakallah.
