Taking MUJAHID to the next level by having more contribution from Khuddam and Atfal all over the USA.

T A R G E T   F O R   M A J A L I S

1. Do some kind of PR related activity where we get a chance to publish/advertise what MKA USA is and why we are different. An example of that could be arranging a Q&A session coupled with dinner/lunch/refreshement around the new year and show our non-Muslim guests how we celebrate a new year and why we do it differently. Then, send us the story/article.
Target Date: January 15th, 2009

2. Do another activity like this down the road, around the second half of the year.
Target Date: August 15th, 2009

3. Keep sending the monthly highlight and articles/pictures of different activities in the Majlis.
Target Date: 5th of Every Month

4. Generate sponsorship for Mujahid, by contacting business people within the Majlis.

Concluding Address of the 60th Jalsa Salana - United States of America

Alhamdolillah, that with my address today, Jalsa Salana America will come to a close. In view of Khilafat Centenary, this Jalsa holds a great importance. Hopefully its atmosphere will have created an effect, and according to ones ability and faculties, spread various kinds of blessings on every member of the Jama'at. As I always say, and also stated to you previously in my [Friday]sermon and yesterday's address also, the purpose of the Jalsa that the Promised Messiah (as) had told us was to improve spiritually, religiously, educationally and morally. So in this regard, the Jalsa of each Jama'at of every country has an importance; and this Jalsa too is held for the same purpose. If that be the sole purpose, then what is the need to say that this Jalsa is significant nearly because of the Khilafat Jubilee?

In this connection, I would personally say that for some time, every country has been preparing its program for Khilafat Jubilee that culminates in the special programs of the Jalsa Salana, in which the bounties of God Almighty are recounted with reference to Khilafat-e-Ahmadiyya. The old, the young, and the children have been getting ready with zeal, especially for this purpose. Thus, this preparation was carried out with particular feelings; namely that on the completion of 100 years of khilafat which is that we would try to bring about a change in our spiritual, religious, educational, and moral conditions which shall be even better than before.

There were speeches that we used to hear and of which we only enjoyed the benefit of listening to. However we did not act accordingly and if we did try to act on them, then after a few days we used to forget what had been said. Worldly pursuits took presidence over admonitions. To do good works, our feet were stuck where they were. Or if a[t] moment we did step forward, no real progress could be seen and our stepping forward could not at all be described as revolutionary. Thus, in view of these past matters, if this Khilafat Jubilee Jalsa was stirred your feelings, your emotions, and your person, then, congratulations to you, for you have understood the purpose of the Khilafat Jubilee Jalsa, and of my coming here [to America].

And now, with a renewed pledge, and a new determination to improve in spiritual and moral values, you have entered into the new century. I accepted this pledge from you on the 27th of May, however now that we have stepped into the new century we need to move swiftly. Revolutionary changes in the world cannot be made at a snails pace. Revolutionary changes require a complete transformation from you. (read more)
