Dear Khilafat Team Members,
Check-in at the Daftar Khidmat-e-Khalq / Central Command Center after 4:00PM SUN, 6/15. Look for the white marquee on-site. You will given your accommodation information and issued an ID badge for the week. As you make your final travel preparations, take a moment to review some important reminders and information. BAITUR RAHMAN MOSQUE The site is currently in the middle of an ACTIVE expansion project. Please respect ALL barriers, signs, and placards. Much of the open-land space has been freshly graded; therefore parking will only be available in the field lot across the street. Also be aware that cellphone coverage in and around the site is very poor. 10-DAY WEATHER FORECAST Maryland and Pennsylvania sites will both have highs in the mid-to-upper 80's, lows in the mid 60's, minimal precipitation, and 60% average humidity – pack accordingly. TIP: Consider packing mostly light, loose-fitting (but appropriate), cotton garments. NOTE: Short pants are not considered appropriate attire for this venue. (Short-sleeve shirts OK). Look for vehicles with a "JALSA" window tag outside of baggage claim.
