Puget Sound Blood Center - October 2008

So sorry! I thought I had sent you this email!

Your blood drive registered 89 donors with 18 first time donors. I think
many students who weren't able to donate visited other drives on campus
last week so you helped contribute to a fantastic week on the mobile
program! Thanks so much to the Muslim Student Association for their hard
work on promoting. Everyone was blown away by the sheer number of donors
who came out to support this drive!

We also have you all set for your October drive and were able to get 2
computers to help register volunteers. Additionally, we had a low number
of deferrals so we collected 79 units of blood which will enable us to
help 237 patients in Western Washington.

I hope coordinating this drive was a rewarding experience for you and
look forward to your participation in October.

Oh, also this just in from our Director of Donor and Volunteer Resources
as our drives for the week included a few drives that happened today: We
wanted to let all of you know that we had a record-breaking week on the
Mobile Program!  Our total registered for the week was 2,954, the best
we have ever registered in this program!  This includes the most recent
media appeals as well as the week of 9/11/01!
