Waqare-Amal at the Pittsburgh Mosque
Waqare-Amal at the Pittsburgh Mosque
On a fine Sunday morning on November 20th, 2011, 7 members including 4 Khuddam, 1 Ansar, and 2 Atfal spent an hour and a half busily vacuuming and sweeping the mosque and picking up garbage from the outside. The total amount of man (and boy) hours was 10.5 hours. This is in addition to several additional hours performed by khuddam on separate occasions throughout the month at the mosque and at a soup kitchen during the thanksgiving holiday.
