Al-Qaeda Attack On Church ‘Is Not Islam'

The attack of Al-Qaeda at the Our Lady of Salvation Church in Iraq is sickening. It shows the gruesome, horrific, just awful worldview of extremists. Taking the lives of 60 innocent worshipers in inexcusable. That is not Islam. Contrary to Al-Qaeda's views, the Quran (2:63-5:70) clearly states that Christians are amongst the inmates of paradise.

Being a member of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community (muslimsforpeace.org), I condemn these attacks. I will pray for those innocent victims and their families and send my heartfelt condolences out to them.
