I am an Ahmadi Muslim who immigrated to America 12 years ago and became a citizen last year. Many Muslims move to America for a better education, political liberty, equal opportunity and a better economic future. But some come to America solely for religious liberty. This year on Thanksgiving, I am thankful to be a Muslim American. What liberties, religious or otherwise, has this country not provided me? I encourage all fellow Muslim Americans to express their thankfulness to America and its Constitution for the religious freedom it offers.
