Atrocious Assault

In an atrocious assault, Al-Qaeda violently massacred nearly 60 worshippers assembled at Our Lady of Salvation Church in Iraq.

As an American Muslim, the Youth Leader of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Connecticut chapter, and a member of the Muslim Writers Guild of America, I categorically condemn this abominable act of carnage against humanity. In the estimation of my holy book, the Quran, even the slaughter of a single innocent life is tantamount to the genocide of the entire human race. As ruler, Prophet Muhammad mandated full protection for Christians from any act of aggression on the part of Muslims. Recently, around 100 worshippers from my community were also butchered at the hands of militant terrorists. We share your pain and fully express our heartfelt condolences to the victims’ families and offer our sincere prayers for them during these dire times.
