Muslim Condemns Al-Qaida's Assault On Iraqi Christians

On Nov. 1 occurred the worst massacre of Iraqi Christians in recent memory. Al-Qaida laid siege to the Our Lady of Salvation Church and killed nearly 60 worshippers. Blood and flesh now smears the church's walls and pews.
Al-Qaida claims to fight for Islam but contradicts Islamic teaching. For example, the Medina Charter, the first true Islamic constitution, granted 100 percent religious freedom to all of Medina's inhabitants, no matter their religion. In fact, the charter is the first historical document to establish religious freedom as a constitutional right. What religion are these animals following?
As a member of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community -- known for its recent Muslims for peace campaign -- I condemn this cowardly and evil act.
To my Christian brothers and sisters, I want to say that I grieve with you. May God protect us all from these enemies of peace and love.
