A Common Love Of Jesus

Even though I, as a Muslim-American kid, don't celebrate Christmas, it is amazing for me to learn that the Quran recognizes Israelite prophets as righteous men of God. In particular, the Quran says that Jesus, whom we revere as a messianic prophet, and his mother Mary, were pure and free from sin. 

On Sunday, I may not attend church services, light a Christmas tree, or prepare a wish list for Santa, but I will continue to love Jesus and all of the other prophets mentioned in the Quran. In a world that begs for peace, I think this story of common love needs to be told.
