Peace On Earth

This Christmas, Jesus can be the inspiration for Muslims and Christians – and others, too – to build bridges of interfaith harmony and work together for the betterment of society. Why? Jesus is mentioned by name more times in the Koran than Prophet Muhammad himself – each time in the most elevated regard. Thus Jesus naturally serves as a uniting force for two of the world’s largest religions.

Muslims and Christians can make Jesus an inspiration to come together this Christmas Day. As Jesus taught, let us care for the poor at home and abroad, especially those of us who can afford to in today’s difficult economic circumstances. As a Muslim-American, this is my Christmas wish.
