Muslim Extremists
By: Saad Karamat

On Feb. 6, nearly 1,000 violent extremists attacked a peaceful gathering of Ahmadi Muslims, barbarically stabbing three victims to death, and setting cars and buildings on fire.
This marks yet another hate-filled attack on the peaceful Ahmadiyya Muslim community in Indonesia. But once more, the police did little to pacify the situation. Americans must be concerned about this injustice, because the worldwide Ahmadiyya Muslim community represents the most powerful voice of reason in the Muslim world, for which its members continue to endure systematic persecution.

Since its inception in 1889, the Ahmadiyya Muslim community is the sole international Islamic organization to endorse a separation of religion and state, promote universal human rights, and emphatically reject any notion of violence in the name of religion. Whenever so-called Muslims employ terrorism to achieve their agendas, we do not stay silent.

With terrorism creeping into the United States, the U.S. government must not cast a bland eye on the Ahmadiyya Muslim community's persecution.
