Whatever His Motive, It's Not In Quran

Whatever Khalid Aldawsari’s motives were to plan an alleged attack on Americans, it is certain Islam does not justify his plans. The Quran (5:33) states if a person commits murder, it is as if he killed all mankind. I am a Muslim-American and member of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community youth auxiliary and I studied at Texas Tech University in Lubbock for four years. In that time, I never felt unwelcome or threatened because of my faith. Perhaps it is because Aldawsari is confused. Perhaps it is because he is caught in misguided and perverted religious zeal. Whatever his motives are, as a Muslim-American, I condemn them.
