Was Justice Served With Bin Laden's Death?

By: Sardar Atik Ahmad

Osama bin Laden, the man responsible for the deaths of almost 3,000 people on Sept. 11, 2001, has been killed. Justice has finally been served. Or has it? Without any consideration of a trial, bin Laden was immediately killed, instead of taken captive.

Saddam Hussein, reportedly the cause of hundreds of thousands of deaths, was captured and given a trial before he was hung. The Nazis, reportedly responsible for the deaths of six million Jews, were brought to justice under the Nuremberg Trials. The Japanese were tried after World War II for the deaths of countless civilians in the Tokyo trials. If men responsible for many more deaths can be brought to justice under a trial, why can't the same be done for bin Laden?
