Sir:
The Americans seem all set to achieve their divine task of evangelising Muslims. Ever since Franklin Graham, known for his anti-Islam views, announced that his charity organisation, Samaritans Purse, would assist the nation-building process in post-war Iraq, many other evangelical Christian groups have also made announced their intentions to spread the Gospel and help the Muslims.
Lending a helping hand, these organisations are preaching Christianity to the Iraqi refugees on the borders of Jordan. The refugees are made to believe that their Islamic faith was responsible for their hardships and that the Christians have come as their saviours!
The US government has recently launched a satellite television news station in Arabic in Iraq. US officials may tell everyone they don't carry out propaganda but the news network has no qualms describing itself as a unique tool in the Lords ministry plan for the world. But which or rather whose Lord is this? I think we can ask this question, especially after the Bush administration endorsed Franklin Grahams views by allowing him to conduct the Good Friday service at the Pentagon.
I think its time for Muslims around the globe to wake up and begin a new Jihad. If these people can mask their intentions under the cover of relief, why can't we Muslims do the same?
