On The Death of Osama Bin Laden
By: Kashif N. Chaudhry

The most intense manhunt in American history has ended. "Justice has been done," said President Obama in his late-night appearance.

As a Muslim-American, I am delighted for just those two reasons – being a Muslim and an American. I am happy that justice has been served to the thousands of my fellow Americans who lost their lives at the hands of Osama bin Laden. I am glad that one of the biggest enemies of my faith has met his end. If bin Laden had anything to do with Muslims, it was giving them a bad name and tarnishing their reputation. Obama said it best: "Osama was never a Muslim leader. He was a mass murderer."

A major setback for the world of terror, I am hopeful that this will serve as a major milestone in the fight for peace.
