Muslim Americans Get New Opportunity

As a Muslim American, Osama bin Laden's death means justice has been delivered for everyone affected by 9/11. As a proud American who shares the name Osaama, Osama bin Laden's death opens a door for me to recontextualize this name for peace, not violence. President Barack Obama clearly stated that bin Laden wasn't a Muslim leader, and the Koran clearly says, "Whosoever killed a person "... It shall be as if he had killed all mankind."
Ultimately, bin Laden's death gives Muslim Americans another opportunity to demonstrate to our fellow Americans that we stand united with them against any and all enemies -- foreign and domestic.
