Message To Muslims Is Unheeded Here

Ayman al-Zawahri’s videotape eulogy to Osama bin Laden clearly was an attempt to create a rift between America and the Muslim world. However, he forgets that America is not at war with Islam but against extremists like him. There are more than 2 million American-Muslims. They are loyal to their homeland, and many are actively serving in the U.S. armed forces. Many more are initiating nationwide campaigns such as "Muslims for Peace" and "Muslims for Loyalty."

Al-Zawahri’s message of disloyalty and disorder contradicts the Quran’s teaching, "Seek not to create disorder in the Earth" (28:78). I strongly reject his message, as do other Muslims.
