Many thanks to Renee Moilanen for pointing out the graffiti on the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community "Adopt A Highway" sign in her column, "Graffiti-marred highway sign a chilling reminder" on Saturday. The youth section of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Los Angeles West Chapter will be cleaning the sign and will be talking to concerned authorities to replace it, if needed.
Also, thank you for mentioning the fact rightfully: "Ironically, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, according to its literature, is one of the few Muslim sects to categorically reject terrorism of any sort and to endorse separation of church and state." Your findings reflect the core principal of the community. The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA, established in 1920, is the first American-Muslim organization. It not only promotes peace and love within communities but also loyalty to the homeland. The motto "Love for all hatred for none" is reflected in the daily life of its members. As part of its nationwide initiative, Muslims for Peace, (www.muslimsforpeace.org), the local chapter has distributed hundreds of flyers locally in various South Bay cities.
