Blood Drive For 9/11

Many are becoming ever-wary of Muslim-Americans. As a Muslim-American, I sense the distrust through the looks of strangers when I go to class, work, or out to eat.

How can we dispel this irrational fear?  How can we show that we believe and uphold the sanctity of life just as much as others?

Actions speak louder than words. We will show Americans, by giving our own blood, that we sympathize with them over the loss of life. In that light, I encourage you to give blood and save lives with us through our nationwide Muslims for Life campaign: www.muslimsforlife.org. We plan to raise 10,000 bags of blood this year – on the 10th anniversary of 9/11.

Hopefully then, those looks of distrust will change into looks of love and understanding.
