Islam Isn’t The Problem

Is it truly insensitive for Muslims to build a mosque near Ground Zero?  I suppose if you believe the World Trade Center attacks were conducted by Muslims… but they weren’t.  Islam does not condone what happened on 9/11.  The perpetrators behind this dark day in our history were not representing true Islam.  The only Muslims involved in the events of that tragic day were those who, along with thousands others, lost their lives either trying to escape or trying to help as first responders.
