I Pledge Allegiance

As the words "love for all, hatred for none" resonate from the lips of Jews, Christians and Muslims across America, Pastor Terry Jones resonates hatred against the peaceful teachings of Jesus Christ.
Moses, Jesus and Muhammad have taught us to love one another, protect each other and that our righteousness will enable us to reach heaven together. By planning a "Burn a Koran" day, Jones has maligned Christ's teachings. Muslims believe the God who revealed the Bible also revealed the Quran.
The memorial of 9/11 is a day to honor and remember those who died for our country and to reflect over our unity as Americans. As an American-Muslim, I call upon all Americans to join with efforts such as those of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, which has initiated a nationwide "Muslims for Peace" campaign to develop brotherhood between all Americans.
To Jones, our response must be that we pledge allegiance to America - one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
