How to Become a Regular Chanda-Paying Member
You can help us do our job with greater efficiency if you become regular at paying chanda. The question you may be wondering is how that may be possible. There is limited income but seemingly limitless expenses, so how are certains members able to be regular in their Chanda? Are there simple and manageable steps that a Khadim can take to make sure he's not behind on his Chanda?
Here are some practical suggestions to enable members to be regular in their Chanda.
- Pray - Sincerely pray that Allah grant you the ability to fulfill all your financial obligations.
- Budget - Make a budget of your income and expenses. Allocate about 10% of your net income towards Chanda (Aam, Khuddam, TJ, WJ, etc.). Readjust your expenses, so you are able to balance your budget.
- Submit - Try to pay your entire annual budget at the beginning of the year, or in the first few months of the fiscal year (November to October).
- Become more active in local MKA activities so you can see the impact of your Chanda.
- If you’re out of work, pay the minimum amount of $36.00. Additionally, pray for your job search, offer additional Nawafal prayers, offer additional Sadqa, and write to Huzoor for prayers.
- Keep in mind that paying your MKA Chanda is a requirement of being a member of Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya.
These are some simple suggestions that you might find helpful. If there are other suggestions, please communicate that to us so we can share it with all our members.
