Membership 2100

Membership 2000 2100--You Did It!

For the past three years we've set 2,000 as our participation goal, but twice we fell short.  While there was general dissapointment in not being able to achieve this target, we continued to focus on the basics.  This year, Alhamdolillah, we passed the 2,100 participation mark, shattering all expectations.  This is indeed an historic moment for MKA USA and all of you are to be congratulated for making this happen.  It is, after all, the hard work of all the Qaideen and Nazimeen Maal who perform the leg work necessary to reach this mark.   Ultimately, however, it's the individual member that made it all happen.  May Allah accept our humble efforts.  May He accept our sacrifices and may He reward us with the best of rewards.

So now what?  The obvious question is now where do we go?  As great us our 2,100 mark is, there is still room for improvement.  We believe that we should have at least 500 additional participants.  How wonderful would it be if we had 2,500 participants this year (FY 2010), but we must take modest steps and our goal is 2,200 for this year.  InshaAllah, with your help, we'll shatter this mark as well. 

How can you help in attaining this goal? First, make sure you’ve paid your dues. If possible, try to pay the entire year’s budget in the first month of the year rather than spreading it out over the entire year. This will help us focus on those that need an extra reminder. Secondly, encourage your family and friends to pay their dues. Remind them of the importance of their dues. Encourage them to come to MKA activities, so they better understand how their dues are used by the greater membership. Keep in mind that nothing is possible without prayers, so pray for each other that we are all able to carry out our duties. With your healthy attitude and prompt response to this request, inshaAllah, Membership 2000 will be another notch in the efforts of MKA USA.
