The Holy Quran on Financial Sacrifice

Chapter : 2  (Al-Baqarah)  Verse : 262   [Short Commentary]
The similitude of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like the similitude of a grain of corn which grows seven ears, in each ear a hundred grains. And Allah multiplies it further for whomsoever He pleases and Allah is Bountiful, All-Knowing.

Chapter : 2  (Al-Baqarah)  Verse : 263   [Short Commentary]

They who spend their wealth in the way of Allah, then follow not up what they have spent with taunt or injury, for them is their reward with their Lord, and they shall have no fear, nor shall they grieve.

Chapter : 2  (Al-Baqarah)  Verse : 265   [Short Commentary]

O ye who believe! Render not vain your alms by reproach and injury like him who spends his wealth to be seen of men, and he believes not in Allah and the Last Day. His case is like the case of a smooth rock covered with earth, on which heavy rain falls, leaving it bare and hard. They shall not secure aught of what they earn. And Allah guides not the disbelieving people.

Chapter : 2  (Al-Baqarah)  Verse : 266   [Short Commentary]

And the case of those who spend their wealth to seek the pleasure of Allah and to strengthen their souls is like the case of a garden on elevated ground. Heavy rain falls on it so that it brings forth its fruit twofold. And if heavy rain does not fall on it, then light rain suffices. And Allah sees what you do.

Chapter : 2  (Al-Baqarah)  Verse : 273   [Short Commentary]

It is not thy responsibility to make them follow the right path; But Allah guides whomsoever He pleases. And whatever of wealth you spend, the benefit of it will be for yourselves, for, you spend not but to seek the favour of Allah. And whatever of wealth you spend, it shall be paid back to you in full and you shall not be wronged.

Chapter : 2  (Al-Baqarah)  Verse : 275   [Short Commentary]

Those who spend their wealth by night and day, secretly and openly, have their reward with their Lord; on them shall come no fear, nor shall they grieve.

Chapter : 9  (Al-Taubah)  Verse : 20   [Short Commentary]

Those who believed and left their homes for the sake of God and strove in the cause of Allah with their wealth and their lives have the highest rank in the sight of Allah. And it is they who shall triumph.

Chapter : 9  (Al-Taubah)  Verse : 88   [Short Commentary]

But the Messenger and those who believe in him strive in the cause of Allah with their wealth and their persons, and it is they who shall have good things, and it is they who shall prosper.

Chapter : 9  (Al-Taubah)  Verse : 103   [Short Commentary]

Take alms out of their wealth, so that thou mayest cleanse them and purify them thereby. And pray for them; thy prayer indeed is a source of tranquillity for them. And Allah is All-knowing

Chapter : 30  (Al-Rum)  Verse : 40   [Short Commentary]

Whatever you lay out at interest that it may increase the wealth of the people, it does not increase in the sight of Allah; but whatever you give in Zakat, seeking the pleasure of Allah - it is these who will increase their wealth manifold.

Chapter : 92  (Al-Lail)  Verse : 19   [Short Commentary]

Who gives his wealth that he may be purified,
