Muslim Youth Leaders Gather to Plan National Strategy!

QRCPostMore than 200 Muslim youth leaders from around the USA met in Silver Spring Maryland this weekend to plan a national service and youth leadership strategy for the coming year. Members of Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya (Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth) met this weekend to hold a training course for the leaders of the more than 64 local chapters. The Qaideen as they are called, an Arabic term that means "leaders" prepared themselves to implement a comprehensive national strategy. In more than 17 areas ranging from spiritual reflection, community service, public relations, leadership development and education, MKAUSA directors presented a plan of action to all of the local youth leaders. Youth leaders return to their chapters with a renewed vigor and purpose to develop themselves and the young people in their towns.

The Qaideen Refresher Course (QRC) is an annual professional development activity for Muslim Youth leaders in the United States for more than 11 years. At the QRC Muslim Youth leaders network with each other and review their implementation strategies from the previous year. Directions and recommendations from the Khalifa or spiritual head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community are used to shape the ongoing plans of the youth leaders.
