The 41st Jalsa Salana UK was not only my first time in the UK, my first time flying, my first Jalsa and my first time meeting Huzur, Hadhrat Mirza Masroor Ahmadaba . While in London I had the oppurtunity, and blessing to see the truth of Hadhrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad of Qadian (as) . May Allah guide us and help to see this thruth everyday, ameen.
I would say my personal experience was..... in short Alhamdulillah!
Yet my heart was still yearning for something more during those three blessed days, and as always Allah the Gracious appeased this yearning. I would say and truly believe that my most memorable thoughts and times were when I met His Holiness Mirza Masroor Ahmad Khalifatul Masih V (may Allah strengthen and Help him and bless his sweet soul). I can assure you that when you see Huzur on MTA and hear him address the whole world or see his pictures, it cannot be compared to being in his presence, having him look at you, speak to you, smile at you or even touch you. It is as if Hazrat Masih-e-Maud has touched you, as if my Master Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa(s.a.w) has smiled at you.
His smile was beautiful, I became absorbed in him, his hand shake was so comforting, and his hug is like hugging your beloved grandfather and sitting in his lap. You feel as if you lose yourself in his arms. In my humble opinion all Ahmadi's should make it a point to meet him, to offer prayer behind him and listen to his beautiful voice. To see him and meet him you feel as if you have gained nearness to Allah, you gain a spiritual high something I assure you cannot be found any where else.
I held him and kissed his hand and The Promised Messiah's ring. I kissed his blessed cheek and neck, I smelled him and for a moment I ceased to exist. You see the light in him, and the love of Allah The Exalted, the Glorious, Hallowed be His Name.
