Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatuhu!
Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon you and welcome to the Ahmadiyya Muslim family!
May your accepting the Message of the Imam Mahdi & Messiah Mirza Ghulam Ahmad AS be both blessed and fruitful to you and to this unique community.
Accepting this historic message and becoming part of this community is an immense step towards fulfilling your spiritual destiny - but it does not end here. Now that you are here, there is much to learn and much to do. Part of fulfilling our Islam is the continual pursuit of knowledge and perfecting our relationship with Almighty Allah. These things are thus never really fully accomplished. They are works in progress.
In joining the blessed community of the Messiah, it is the same. You probably have gone through much soul searching and maybe even trial in finding the True Islam and accepting it, but this, of course, is really only the beginning of the journey. Sometimes such a big decision is followed with different types of tests and trials. Allah states in the Holy Quran:
“Do men think that they will be left alone because they say, ‘We believe,’ and that they will not be tested?” Holy Quran 29.3
It is Allah’s Way that believers are continually tested as a matter of their spiritual evolution. After such trial, though, Allah promises reward:
“Surely there is ease after hardship” Holy Quran 94:6
So, as things may be challenging at first, success is promised to those who persevere.
As your new spiritual family in Islam, this community is set up for your continual success. Local, regional, national and even international programs and events are set up to help your progress in Islam. Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya is the branch of our community composed of 15 to 40 year old men who are reverently referred to as the “backbone” of the community. Whether it be understanding the finer points of Islam, participating in charity and service, or just experiencing brotherhood and friendship, Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya is here for you.
