Sadr MKA USA (President) makes first visit to Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES, Calif., Jan 6, 2007 - Members of the Los Angeles (West) Majlis/Chapter were visited on Friday (01/05) by Faheem Younus Qureshi, President (Sadr Sahib) of Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya USA. During his visit, Sadr Sahib had the opportunity to personally meet with all of the members present. “I am absolutely amazed at the great diversity here; I have yet to visit a majlis that is as diverse as this one,” he remarked while tallying the 9 ethnic backgrounds represented.

During his visit, Sadr Sahib asked those present to voice their general concerns; and offer suggestions that could be implemented to improve the overall activity level at the Los Angeles (West) Chapter. Amjad M. Khan, West Coast (South) Regional Qaid (Regional Leader) and Armaghan Mallik, Local Qaid (Local Leader) who were also among those in attendance, presented Sadr Sahib with the challenges they face on a daily basis. “Whenever I hear this word ‘challenge’ I try to change it around in my mind so I can see it as an ‘opportunity.’ You’ll be amazed at how quickly ideas start flowing,” he advised.

While in the West Coast (South) Region, Sadr Sahib will travel to several other majalis (chapters) including Phoenix, Tucson, and Las Vegas; concluding his trip with a visit to the Los Angeles (East) Majlis before returning back to headquarters.
