MKA USA NEWSWIRE - 01/08/07 For Immediate Release Sadr MKA USA (President) visits Arizona & Nevada Chapters LAS VEGAS, Nev., Jan 8, 2007 - Faheem Younus Qureshi, President (Sadr Sahib) of Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya USA continued his tour of the American Southwest along with Amjad Khan, West Coast (South) Regional Qaid (Leader) this past weekend; traveling to Phoenix and Tucson on Saturday (01/06), and Las Vegas on Sunday (01/07). As he did in Los Angeles last Friday, Sadr Sahib again focused on the inner-workings of each chapter he visited. Throughout his trip to the region, Sadr Sahib has expressed a clear concern for members living on the West Coast, who are often far-removed from the large-scale events and momentum found near MKA USA’s national headquarters in Silver Spring, Maryland. “I can clearly see the passion on each of your faces. We cannot let distance stop you from excelling,” Sadr Sahib remarked while addressing the Phoenix Majlis (Chapter) along with Akhtar Mahmood, Qaid (Local Leader) on Saturday. While meeting with Haroon Amin, Qaid (Local Leader) of the Tucson chapter and their respective members, Sadr Sahib reminded those in attendance, “the 59 chapters [of MKA USA] are like light bulbs on a map. Tucson is once such bulb; only you can control the intensity of that bulb.” Accompanied by Imam Shamshad A. Nasir, Southwest Regional Missionary for the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Sadr MKA USA visited Las Vegas on Sunday afternoon and was received by Fakhr Anjum, Qaid (Local Leader) and members of the Las Vegas Majlis (Chapter). His message to the Las Vegas Majlis (Chapter) was quite clear. “Without unity nothing can be accomplished. Brotherhood is the most important ingredient of a successful majlis.”
