Northeast regional tarbiyyat camp was held from July 10th thru July 19th in Rochester, New York. There are 25 children in attendance at the camp. Our teachers include: Jalal Lateef Sb., Bilal Salaam Sb., Amar Butt Sb, Missionary Yahya Luqman sahib. Aftal completed their Ijtema Syllabus, learn Urdu, along with other activities. Khuddam were given advance course in Islamic History, Urdu etc. Sport competitions were also held in the late afternoons.
Also the following activities took place: canoeing, hiking, museum trip. This was a great opportunity for Atfal and Khuddam of NE Region to get to know each other. Our guestspeaker include: Dr. Zia Shah Sb., Dr. Naseer Tahir Sb., Dr. Manzur Sikdar Sb., Masood Ashraf Sb. Maulana Daud Hanif Sb. Missionary Incharge was also visited the camp for 3 days. Buffalo Majlis holds sports day : Under the clear sky Buffalo khuddam hels sports day. Sheraz Ahmad brought his good old 'Inzimam-like' batting to the Park's driveway, Rehman Ahmad caught a great catch on the green, probably just like Afridi's in the Twenty20 Semi-Final! Ansar Khan was bowling better than Shoaib Akhtar. I was out of form, and been out of form since I started playing cricket as a child, unfortunately. But nontheless, it was a great day. Pictures
June 1 2009:On Memorial Day, Khuddamul Ahmadiyya Rochester organized a hiking trip to the Adinondacks. Five Khuddam and a physician guest from Syracuse climbed up the 2,795 feet peak (trail length of 2 miles) of Blue Mountain on a brilliantly sunny day. Muballigh Yahya Luqman Sahib accompanied us. January 10th : Northeast Region's 1st QRC/ARC was held successfully at Syracuse, NY. There was a good attendance of Qaideen, Nazim Atfal from the region in addition to representatives from National Amila (Naib Sadr MKA USA and MAA National Representative). Our region's Murabee Sahib was also in attendance. The event started at about 11AM and concluded after combined Zuhur and Asr prayers by 2PM.
January 2nd : Special Khuddam Jumma'a Day. The first Friday of 2009 is the Khuddam Jumma on the National level. Every Jama'at will have an assigned Khadim to deliver the friday sermon. YEAR 2008
July : Khilafat Poster Submission by Northeast Region. The attached is a submission from the region towards the Khilafat Poster competition.
June : Atfal Tarbiyyat Camp
Atfal Tarbiyyat camp was held in Hartford,CT for three days in which 25 atfals were present. Quran classes and various tarbiyyat session and religious knowlege jeopardy were just few of the fun activities enjoyed by atfals. Children also visited to children's museum in Hartford.
May 10th: Northeast Regional Ijtema held successfully!
By grace of Allah Northeast Regional Ijtema was held successfully in Albany, NY on May 10th 2008. Ijtema was attended by 69 khuddam and atfals from all 7 majalis. It was truly fun packed event and was enjoyed by everyone.
Khuddam and atfal competed in various educational and sports competitions. Sanat-o-tajarat workshop was also held. Respected Naib sadr Raheem Lateef sahib gave an inspiring closing remarks and Ijtmea was concluded with Dua.
