CALLOUS MURDER OF AHMADI DOCTOR MANNAN SIDDIQUI IS THE CONTINUATION OF THE PROCESS OF TALIBANISATION OF SINDH PROVINCE – ALTAF HUSSAIN

Mr Altaf Hussain, founder and leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) has severely condemned the callous and cold blooded murder of Ahmadi Doctor Mannan Siddiqui and termed this horrendous act as continuation of the process of Talibanisation of Sindh province. He further added that Dr Mannan Siddiqui was serving patients irrespective of their colour, creed, language, sect and even religion and killing of Dr Siddiqui has proved that the perpetrators do not even deserve to be considered as human beings.
 
Mr Altaf Hussain also highlighted a widespread conspiracy against the MQM of sending fax letters and emails to individuals and to Imam Bargahs and Mosques domestically and internationally inciting hatred and provocations against Shiite and Ahmadi sects to malign the image of the MQM and falsely portray it to be against Shiite and Ahmadi sects.
 
Reiterating his statement terming it to be a conspiracy of Talibanisation of Sindh and the perpetrators to be against humanity Mr Hussain appealed to the President of Pakistan Mr Asif Ali Zardari, the Prime Minster Mr Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani, Federal Advisor to the Interior Ministry Mr Rahman Malik, Governor of Sindh Dr Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan, Chief Minister of Sindh Mr Syed Qaim Ali Shah and Provincial Interior Minister Dr Zulfiquar Mirza to take serious notice of the murder of Dr Mannan Siddiqui, arrest the callous murderers and give them exemplary punishment  and solid steps shall be taken to protect the life, liberty and properties of individuals belonging to these sects. Condoling the bereaved family members he asked them to be patient and pray for him.
