QRC 2008 Impressions

Here are some impressions and feedback from guests and other non-MKA Jamaat members.
1.
Respected Fahim Younis sahib
Assalamo Alaikum
I am so very happy to read your comments. It was an honor to host you and the entire team of Khuddamul Ahmadiyya. (We did not get to spend much time together.) MKA USA members were very  well behaved. I would appreciate input about areas for improvement also. May Allah help all of us to set high standards of conduct as is expected of us. Please remember me and the Jama'at in your prayers and do consider us for future programs.

Dear Faheem Qureshi Sahib, AoA,

I did not get chance to talk to you during the program as i was not feeling good health wise, even though i was in and out several times to check all was well, and found you occupied. As a secretary "Masjid Mahmood Operational committee" I must say that i was very much pleased and astonished to find Masjid, all clean and smelling fresh after all was over. So on behalf of our Sadr Sahib, myself and our jamaat i like to thank you and Khuddams for the outstanding work they did in leaving Masjid Mahmood clean, and most of all we have Not received any complain from the neighbors regarding any disturbance. Please remember us in your prayers that we are able to finish building this masjid to its completion . JazakuMullahAhsanulJaza

Dear Sadr Sahib MKA, USA:
Assalamualaikum

Jazakallah for the very thoughtful and loving message that you sent to all of us here in Detroit.  I am so happy that the QRC was successful and a national event such as it was Mashallah held in Detroit.  For me personally it brought back a lot of memories from the Khuddam ul Ahmadiyya days.

Our local Qaid Sahib had asked us for red book items as a procedure and follow up after the event and as I thought about responding to him, I found myself in complete awe of the ways in which the youngsters of our Jama'at are maturing.  As we work in corporate environments, there are so many concepts we have to implement and deploy to be successful.  Over the QRC weekend I was able to see all of them in action at all levels.  There was a tremendous display of commitment, succession planning, organization, courtesy, respect, punctuality, recognition, delegation, empowerment, appreciation, care, obedience, administration, consideration, humility and leadership - all encapsulated in the leaders you are preparing for tomorrow.  Corporate America can certainly learn a lot from MKA, USA. Hence my only red book item would be to continue what you have been doing so far - obviously everything has room for improvement, so work on making it better - but what you have achieved so far Mashallah must also be cherished and recognized.

I also wanted you to consider Detroit as your home and backyard.  Even though we are in the Mid West, we will always uphold the good, old-fashioned hospitality and values which have become core to Jamaa't e Ahmadiyya world-wide.  In the words of Khalifa Rabay (RA) - "Faslay barh gai, par qurb to saaray hain wohi".

May Allah bless you for the sacrifice you make and enable you to provide many more years of service to our youngsters.  Ameen.

Jazakallah
Wassalam
