The Rising Star for August 2011 is Hezkeel Dar of LA Inland Majlis. Son of Ismail Dar Sahib, Hezkeel is a twelve year old Waqfe Nau boy in the 7th grade. Hezkeel has grown up being a rising star. He is a very dedicated tifl and is known to be active in Majlis Atfal-ul-Ahmadiyya.

Hezkeel has taken many first place awards at local and regional Atfal Ijtemas as well as Waqfe Nau Ijtemas. In school Hezkeel is no different; he is a rising star. Hezkeel has won awards including being on the honor roll, perfect attendance and even being “citizen of the year.” Hezkeel aspires to become a missionary as his career path. In his free time Hezkeel enjoys to paint and reading. Local LA Inland Nazim Atfal mentioned that Hezkeel is “one of the most helpful kids I have ever seen. He is always ready to help and does whatever is needed of him, without any hesitation or disappointment. I enjoy his company.” Hezkeel embodies what it means to be a rising star and in every aspect.  This young tifl, from the onset of his life, has dedicated his focus towards both Taleem and Tarbiyyat above everything else. When asked what advice Hezkeel would give to other atfal, he mentioned “Always tell the truth, read namaz and Qur'an regularly, and go to the mosque on a frequent basis.” May Allah enable Hezkeel to reach all his goals and dreams and remain a rising star as well.
