The Rising Star for the month of December 2011 is Hassan Ahmad of North Jersey Majlis.

MashAllah Hasan is a 13 year old Waqfe Nau boy in the 8th grade, who is also an active member of Majlis Atfal-ul-Ahmadiyya. Whether it is winning awards at various Ijtema’at or getting high grades in school, Hassan is a definitely a rising star. His academic performance shows his level of motivation to be successful now and in the future. His activities truly show his Rising Star qualities. Tahmeed Ahmad, Local Nazim Atfal mentions, “Hassan is very attentive, always participating and always does his best to excel.” Hassan works hard in order to drive himself towards success. He dreams of having a career in business and is propelling himself towards that goal.

While Hassan dreams big, he still enjoys activities any tifl his age would, such as playing basketball and football. Qaid Majlis North Jersey Majlis also has great sentiments about Hassan. “He is a very obedient and well-mannered tifl. I see him at almost all Jama’at events, at which he is an active participant. He is a very smart student, always eager to learn more. He is very humble and shows the highest standards of discipline both at the Masjid and while playing his favorite sport, basketball. I have no doubts that InshAllah Hassan will grow further in worldly and religious knowledge to become a valuable asset to his community and nation. May Allah be with him each step of the way, Ameen.”

It is this sentiment that captures the idea of why Hassan is a Rising Star. He embodies the qualities of a leader but has a heart of a dear friend. Hassan is a model for not only his peers, but for those much older than him as well. May Allah enable Hassan to forever remain active within the Jama’at and help him reach all his dreams and goals, InshAllah.
