Yasir Ahmad Qureshi, who turned 9 in May, is a member of the Boston Majlis. He was born in Oklahoma. Yasir attends fourth grade and completed the Holy Qur’an at the age of 7. He is diligent in his school work, and attends Atfal classes in Boston regularly. His father's name is Hisham Ahmad Qureshi who was Qaid for MKA Boston majlis till 2008 and currently serving as General Secretary of Boston Jama'at.

He also actively participates in local, regional and national Atfal events. In particular, he enjoys Atfal sleepovers held in the Masjid, where he has an opportunity to play ping-pong and air hockey with his friends.

At his first local MAA Ijtema in April 2009, he won medals for Taleem, Memorization of Qur’an, Recitation of Adhan and sports competitions in the Mayar-e-Saghir level.

Yasir’s grandparents and great grandparents were dedicated Waqfeen-e-Zindaghi in Africa. It is his hope to follow in their footsteps in the service of Jama’at, Insha’Allah. May Allah continue bless this astute tifl, and may Allah allow us to be hard workers as well in all our endeavors, Ameen.
