Current Highlighted Initiative:
Ahmadiyya Networking and Service Directory
National Sanat-o-Tijarat department (Career Development) of Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya is publishing the first ever Networking and Service Directory, listing various services available to Jamaat members in USA and selected contacts in various business careers. The Ahmadiyya Networking and Service Directory advertises not only Ahmadi-owned businesses, but also Ahmadi employees who may be working in very diverse fields. We have the target of distributing more than 2000 free copies of this directory at Jalsa Salana 2009. With the Grace of Allah, this initiative will provide a much needed service to Jamaat USA as a whole. However, we need your help in getting to a target of 500 businesses/professions.
Hadhrat Khalifahtul Masih ra II [left] started the office of Sanat-o-Tijarat in 1940s. The vision was to establish a platform where Jamaat members can help each other in learning the professional skills of the time and flourish in businesses to improve their economical stature. Hadhrat Khalifahtul Masih ra IV [right] once stated:
“No nation can be free until it is economically free.” [Friday Sermon on March 1, 1991]
Our biggest objective is increasing the size of the Ahmadiyya Networking Pages to 500 and then publish them (similar to Yellow Pages) in time for Jalsa Salana 2009. We request all Qaideen to immediately begin to work on registering their Khuddam in the Networking Pages (can also be Ansar/Lajna).The only requirement to fill out the registration form is that the Khuddam must be working (doesn't matter where). If you have any questions on any of the following initiatives, please do not hesistate to contact us. Please see chart above for contact person (refer to the chart above).
The Networking Pages are traditionally used to look up your local businesses. However, the Ahmadiyya Networking and Service Directory has a broader goal. An initiative established by the Sanat-O-Tijarat Department (Career Development) of MKA USA, the Ahmadiyya Networking Pages advertises not only Ahmadi-owned businesses, but also Ahmadi employees who may be working in very diverse fields. For example, we have representatives from the travel industry, education field, military personnel, and law enforcement. We also recently added an “International Ahmadi Businesses” section which represents businesses from as far away as Indonesia and Dubai.
One purpose of this initiative is to support one another economically; however we also hope to create an environment of networking. If one is interested in learning how to be an Associate Broker or what the etiquettes of testifying in court are, they can use the Ahmadiyya Networking Pages to find such brothers, who can give friendly and knowledgeable advice.
This program has been initiated to provide guidance to students or other individuals who are either struggling with choosing a particular career path or want to excel in their already chosen career.
Here you can find the job openings shared by Ahmadi brothers from all over USA.
