Directory FAQs



National Sanat-o-Tijarat department (Career Development) of Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya is publishing an Ahmadiyya Resource Directory, listing various services available to Jamaat members in USA and selected contacts in various business careers. The Ahmadiyya Resource Directory advertises not only Ahmadi-owned businesses, but also Ahmadi employees who may be working in very diverse fields.

  1. What is the vision of this initiative?
    1. One purpose of this initiative is to support one another economically; however we also hope to create an environment of networking. If one is interested in learning how to be an Associate Broker or what the etiquettes of testifying in court are, they can use the Ahmadiyya Networking Pages to find such brothers, who can give friendly and knowledgeable advice.
    2. We plan on informing the Jamaat about services offered by the MKA Sanat-o-Tijarat Department (Career Development) such as the Mentoring Program, Resume Assistance Service, etc.
    3. For those wanting to change careers, have been laid off, or have recently migrated to the United States, we want to give awareness about potential career opportunities that may suit their needs.
 
  1. Will my personal contact info be published in the book?
    1. While filling out the registration form, you have the choice to provide either your personal or company contact info. Whichever information is provided will be published.
 
  1. Will my info be made available online?
    1. Yes, unless you can ask us not to show your info online. We will be able to accommodate that inshallah.
 
  1. Will you obtain consent from all contacts to be published?
    1. By filling out the registration form, we assume consent is given to the MKA Sanat-o-Tijarat Department Team to publish the information publicly.
 
  1. What are the risks involved?
    1. Risks include potential spamming, which can be anti-Ahmadi spam.

  1. What are the types of help I can offer? How can I help?
    1. Fill out the registration form
    2. Donate to our networking directory funds and in return, we’ll advertise your business.
 
  1. What is LinkedIn and how can it help me?
    1. LinkedIn is a professional online networking tool to help professionals network with one another in terms of finding jobs or assistance to enhance one’s career.
