Graphic Design Workshop

Organized by the Department of Sanat-O-Tijarat (Career Development), East region USA,
we held a one hour long graphic design workshop on January 13th, 2008 at Al-Nasr Mosque in Willingboro, New Jersey. The workshop was presented by Brother Naveed Malik of the Philadelphia Jamaat, a graphic design entrepreneur...


nj_graphic_design_sample.gifThe purpose of the workshop was to introduce Graphic Design as a career field choice to our young Khuddam. The topics covered during the workshop were Definition of Design, Graphic Design in our daily lives, basics of typography, color psychology and differences between cmyk and rgb, Brother Naveed gave many examples from the print media, billboards, and websites. The workshop was followed by a question and answer session, which had 50+ participants.
