A: A mentor who is already in the profession and/or industry that you are exploring can certainly be helpful in this regard. Having a relationship with a mentor can also help you leverage his network in the industry to get some more data points to help decide on the right choice. Q: I am a Tifal and a 5th grade student in school. Can I participate in this program as protégés? A: Certainly, if you want to explore your future options at an early age. Your mentor can help you broaden your vision and polish your strengths. Q: I am a member of AnsarullAh, can I still participate in mentoring program? A: Although, mentoring program has been started by MKA USA, Ansaars are very welcome to participate in this program as mentors, especially if they want to pass on their hard earn knowledge and experience to the young generation. I want to learn how I can start a small business on my own. Can I participate in this program as protégé? A: Although, this program is primarily aimed for students, all protégés don't have to be formal students. Protégés could be an entrepreneur and other professional seeking guidance from more established people in their respective fields. As a matter of fact, anybody who wants to advance in his respective career/field by learning from others' experience and knowledge can be considered as student. Q: I am a Regional Nazim and I want to find a mentor for a protégé who is Waqf-e-Nau. Should I consider only Waqf-e-Nau mentor for him?
A: If a Waqf-e-Nau mentor could be found who can fulfil the needs of the protégé, that will be better. However there is no restrictions that the mentor has to be a Waqf-e-Nau. If the mentor is a good Ahmadi Muslim, he should be aware of the constraints of waqf-e-nau's careers options and so he should guide him in the light of Khazoor's instructions.
