From the Constitution:
The Muhtamim Sanat-o-Tijarat shall initiate programs to increase interest in learning skills, crafts, and trades among the members. He shall strive to teach Khuddam various industry skills. He shall continue to try to eliminate unemployment in society.

The Sanat-o-Tijarat Department published an Ahmadiyya Resource Directory, providing resources for career development, listing many services available to Jamaat members and published contacts in various careers. The Ahmadiyya Resource Directory advertises not only Ahmadi-owned businesses, but also Ahmadi employees who may be working in very diverse fields.
Sign-up your local Jamaat members for the Ahmadiyya Resource Directory 2010 and receive 20 points per every new sign-up from your Majlis.

Sanat-o-Tijarat Seminars

This seminar series has been initiated to provide awareness, training, and guidance so that our Jamaat members are better informed and can acquire necessary skills for a more rewarding career.
Please present one of the above presentations at least once a year to your Jamaat members at your local meetings or events. You will be awarded 100 points for completing one presentation and 50 points for additional presentations. If you coordinate to have a guest speaker (Non-Ahmadi) come and present to the Khuddam, you will get an extra 25 points max in a month for that effort.

Mentoring Program
Make a difference in someone's life!
Help Mentor a local jamaat member in one of the areas below.
a. Provide one-on-one educational or career tutoring
b. Help jamaat member with job search
c. Review resumes and help with preparing members for job interviews
d. Help with College Application, Scholarship or Loan paperwork
Points will be awarded on a monthly basis and at least one of the above must be done in a given month to get points – eligible for up to 20 points per month.

There will be two types of awards for Khuddam this year:
1. Majlis of the Quarter (per region): Each Majlis will be eligible to win a Quarterly award for being the top Majlis in your respective region. Therefore there will be 4 Quarterly opportunities for your specific Majlis to win during the Khuddam calendar year.
2. Majlis of the year: At the end of the year, the National SoT department will award the “Majlis of the year” award to the most active Majlis. In order to be a nominee for this prestigious award, you must win at least “1” Majlis of the Quarter award for your region. The winning Majlis will be presented with their award at QRC 2010.

Points are awarded only if the workshop is not one from the National SoT department and instead one that was created and presented by a local member of that specific Majlis. If for example, a Majlis does two unique workshops and they are not ones provided by the National SoT departments, then they would get a total of 100 points (50 per unique workshop) |
